What if we are not the right fit?
We encourage prospective clients and current clients to feel very open about requesting referrals when they are not feeling confident and satisfied with their support.
At times, your therapist may be the first to notice that the fit is not quite right for a variety of reasons.
Regardless of who makes the decision to shift to another clinician, we are happy to make sure that our patients are with their right fit, even if it is not with our team.
What is a patient portal?
We have a secure patient portal that we use to store and share documents. This portal also allows you to connect to your virtual sessions.
After your initial 15 minute consultation meeting, if a follow-up session was determined to be the correct next step, you will receive an invitation in your email from Mindful Marriage and Family Therapy.
Here you can fill out your intake paperwork and get everything situated for your first session.
We ask that all first session intake paperwork is filled out no later than 24-hours before your first session.
Paperwork that is not filled out 24-hours before your session, is subject to cancellation. Please contact your clinical or our admin team if you have any trouble with your portal.
Do I have to put my credit card on file?
We do ask all patient’s to have a credit card on file that is up to date.
If you are uncomfortable with having a card on file, we are happy to refer you to a place that may not have the same requirement.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please let us know so we can assure you that your payment method will be secure and that no charges will be made without your awareness first and permission.
Please pay special attention to what kinds of charges can be included in your care in your initial paperwork.
Do you take insurance?
We do not take insurance. Please check out our page on fees and insurance to learn more about how we make it easy to use your out of network benefits.
